Making it big as a fashion blogger continued.....

Step two: Do Your Homework

Knowledge is power and keeping abreast of the latest trends and what’s happening in the world of style is a must for fashion bloggers. Read fashion magazines not only in your country, but abroad as well.

You have to know exactly who your audience is and how they interact with you. Remembering why you blog and why people follow you is the key. Never lose sight of that, no matter how successful you become.  Ask: who is your audience? How do they engage with you? The people who find the most success are the people who understand their analytic—what does my audience want from me, and who am I talking to?

High-quality content really is the most important thing. Content is king. Regardless of what social network is most popular at the moment—if you’re producing amazing content, you’ll always have a platform. When you first start your blog, stay focused on just creating amazing content for six months to a year. Go for events, meet and get to know people especially those in the circle of influence.

To take it to the next level, you need consistency in terms of publishing regularly and make sure you have clear photos. Your content will speak for itself.

WORST FASHION MISTAKES WOMEN MAKE

Hello Sweet Sweet!!!

Today we will be looking at some of the fashion mistakes we make as ladies. Am not just talking about one of those one-off mistakes that puts us on a badly dressed list if someone took the care but long held traditions and fashion myths we cling to that have long gone overboard. Believe me, we have seen some SERIOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS FASHION OFFENSES and we re bringing this to your notice just because we love you. Some of them are so funny you can literally fall off your chairs while some can take you down the memory lane just incase you have once faltered but if you've never been a defaulter, then thumbs up. #in2faceidibia'svoice.......Sit back, Relax, Listen

The Visible bra

First on my list is the visible bra. The major problem with this is that people think its so cliche. This is commonly found among people wearing c-back, spaghetti strap dress, low cut-out back, off shoulders and the most popular being the traditional attire (especially lace inserts). There is a reason the bra is called an inner wear. It simply means it should be inner bikonu!!!!! There are lots of strapless and even backless bras and please the manufacturers of those are not meant to be on hunger strike

Too much cleavage exposure

For crying out loud, what is this???????? No matter how much you think you like a dress, please don't squeeze into and expose the unexposables (please permit my grammar) Those boobs are literally threatening to jump out due to severe suffocation. Privacy is privacy and don't go putting your boobs on public display in trade-fair and expect that no one will want to feel what its made of. Please thou shall not tempt the men on their own. Worst of all, some of these are even found in religious gatherings. Showing too much can never and I repeat!!!!!!! can never make you sexy. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!

Muffin tops

In the words of Eucharia Anunobi " If you've got it, flaunt it" But why will you flaunt what you've not got pleaaaaasssseeeee??????????? If you've got flab in all the wrong places, then please keep it out of harm's way. We got more pleasant things to look at bijo. Not every piece of item we see on Vogue magazine is to be purchased. That it looks great on Genevive Nnaji (By the way, I love this babe muchoes) doesnt mean it will fit everybody. Please stick to clothing that will flatter and accentuate your shape. Every woman has got a great body by the way. I don talk my own ooo!!!!!!!!!!. Shikena

How to make it big as a fashion blogger continued...................

Step one: Invest in Yourself

You have to spend money to make money and sweetheart! fashion blogging is no different. Fortunately, getting started doesn’t require you to empty out your savings account. You’ll want to invest in YOURSELF!!!!!!!!! No one is going to believe in you if you post trendy styles and end up in rags. Investing in yourself doesn't necessarily mean a wardrobe full of Christian Louboutin, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Fendi and the likes but a good sense of fashion, combo n colors. You know wharimean????????

You should also invest in good lenses and camera equipment. One of the biggest ways you’ll be engaging with your readers is through your photos. If the lighting is bad and the pictures are blurry, people aren’t going to take you seriously, much less take the time to read what you have to say.

While paying for a custom-designed website upfront isn’t a must, you should invest in a blog and pick a clean layout that won’t confuse readers and is easy on the eyes.

How to make it big as a fashion blogger

So, you think you can blog? Or you just wanna be a fashion blogger just like myself? Well.... getting started is not the difficult aspect. It’s figuring out how to actually grow your blog and build up  loyal followers that will ultimately separate the wannabes from the success stories. Oh yessssssss!!!!!!!!  I sure hope to end up as a success story.  With a market that’s as overcrowded and crazily competitive as fashion and style, simply having a passion for fashion won’t cut it in this crazy cutthroat market. You have to be willing to put in the time and really work for it, girl. To see what it takes, I have done some research on how to end up as a success story.
