FROM THE LONDON FASHION WEEK

Hello Sweet Sweet!!

So the much hyped London Fashion Week has finally come and gone (February 19th to 23rd 2016). By the way, theLondon Fashion Week is a fashion event that takes place twice a year in February and September showcasing over 140 designers  who will display their AW16 collections in the showrooms, alongside the catwalk and presentation schedule to an audience of influential media and retailers.

 

    
A major highlight of the week was the Burberry's fashion show marking a turning point, according to many industry watchers.It is the final show in which clothes will be previewed for future seasons - from now on it will be possible to buy all clothes as soon as they have been shown on the catwalk.

Christopher Bailey, head of Burberry, explained to the BBC's Emma Simpson, why the change is happening.
