Making it big as a fashion blogger continued....

Step three: Treat It as a Business

Assuming that your end goal is to turn your love of style into your full-time job or even a part-time job, you’ll have to treat the blog the same way you would any other business. Yes.... you will need to accord it the same seriousness as an 8 to 5 job. Blogging is incredibly fun, however, it’s also extremely hard work. There’s a lot involved when running a blog because you’re essentially running a business and a brand of yourself. Like everything else, there are good days and bad days, but never, ever give up!

Vision. A blog isn't a business simply because you get paid for some of the content you post. A proper business takes care of its branding too.

Focus on relationships rather than one off opportunities. By staying in contact with brands that you ve previously worked with, they re likely to think of you when a new collaboration opportunity comes up. Staying in touch can be as simple as sending a quick email to share your enthusiasm about a new collection or letting them know you featured one of their items on your blog. To establish long term relationships with brands, its key to leave a very very positive impression of yourself when working on a project together.

Engage with your readers actively. If it wasn't for your readers, you'd never make a penny from your blog, so maintaining active relationships, whether that's through comments on posts or on social media, is very important.

Keep it Professional. If you treat your blog as a business, you should refrain from sharing ALL of your personal life. On your blogging journey, you ll be let down many, many times. The best advice I can give in situations like this; politeness, politeness, politeness. Always meet and exceed your targets. Deadlines are a big deal
